What a noisy night! We were sleeping peacefully and we were suddenly awakened by a loud noise on our roof. Once the sun rose, I walk around to the back of our cottage and figured out just what that noise was. We have an Ackee tree just behind us and lots of ripe Ackee fruit laying on the ground. Ah ha! An Ackee fruit hit the roof! We wandered over to the seaside of Samsara after breakfast and noted that the sea was fairly rough so we ditched the plan for snorkeling off the cliff for today. We headed back to our cottage and did some birdwatching. In total I got 14 different birds on the property including the beloved Dr. Bird that was busy visiting the Orchid Tree adjacent to our cottage. Garnett purchased a hammock for me so I would have a hammock for the porch. Ahh, now that's living.
