Negril Weekly Spotlight
The New Ricks Cafe
The all new world famous
Ricks Cafe can still pull the crowds, even when the sunset isnt
quite up to the usual Ricks standard! Those of you familiar with
Ricks Cafe will notice a few subtle changes such as longer opening
hours, new signage and a local art gallery by well known local
artist King Pinto.
And the biggest change.... the mad, leap from the rocky
ledge into the cove below! The ledge has gone and a concrete
deck installed to take its place. Problem being... it's even
higher than before!
We took this picture of the new dive deck at night so as
not to frighten too many of you. Negril Today will take the leap
over the weekend and let you know just how many extra seconds
you fly!

Chances Restaurant at Devine Destiny

Every Wednesday evening
at Chances sees top local reggae band, Ninja Force with talented
lead singer Nikki Burte mixing up a vibrant sound of popular
reggae and covers of artists such as Lauryn Hill, Faith Evans
and Whitney Houston. Keep an eye out for our interview with Nikki
coming soon. As you can see, it was a great night particularly for a bunch of visiting travel agents all the way from the windy city, Chicago. So, every Monday and Wednesday, make it Chances for live reggae, jazz, and calypso as well as a mouthwatering buffet that costs an amazing $6.95 (250JA). As for the red stripe... cheapest on the beach at $50JA all day, everyday. |
